Had a great time yesterday with my clients Matt and family from Texas. They wanted to catch some snook so obviously we had to make it happen. We ended up catching a couple dozen or so. Lost some nice fish but managed to stay busy the whole trip. Great people and very fun to fish with. Bite is getting really good. Book your trips!

The bite has been spectacular and there’s no sign that it may slow down anytime in the near future. If anything, the recent cold fronts will push more 
fish into the area and the bite will get even hotter.
Between weather systems we have been targeting rock piles in 35-70Ft of water and having great success using live bait to target Mango Snapper, Porgy and of course Hog Fish. On these trips is customary to also get some nice hook ups on Grouper, Scamp and the occasional Trigger Fish.
As the weather from lat week settles down, I expect the water to clear up and the Bite to only get even better.

Bite was a little slow today for us but managed to get on a huge school of big big redfish. Caught a total of 5 and everyone of them were over 34″. The biggest today was 39″. Had my clients Jason and family today from Canada and they were done after 5 big bruisers. We ended up going trout fishing after that and had a nonstop bite. Bite is still good in the Tampa bay. Had to get out this morning to capitalize on the permit bite that my buddy @jasonstock has been raging about! We only had about a 2hr window this morning before it got pretty nautical out there for us. But went 2-3 on permit and had an awesome time. Book your trips.

Was nice to finally get out after all the rain. Had an awesome day with Paul from England-Chicago today with his family also. Went to try and catch a permit and got literally spooled by one. Only permit bite this morning. Caught some nice mangos, triple tail and lost a huge barracuda. Then pushed back inshore and caught some snook to cap the day. Very hot and flat calm all day. Had my clients Steve and family from Lake Okeechobee on board today. I tried to talk them out of going fishing today due to weather but they insisted that they had to catch some fish. We ended up catching a bunch of small snook, trout and jacks. We lost a monster snook in the middle of a downpour. Was a sight to see! Steve and family were troopers today. Snook fishing in Tampa bay is on point. Had my clients Arron and family from Oklahoma out today for there first saltwater adventure. Early in the morning we lost a nice snook estimated to be about 38″. But we managed to catch plenty of under slot and a nice 30″ snook towards the end of the trip. Had an awesome time today fishing in not so awesome weather. We managed to stay dry for most of the day. Started the day off going 1-1 on tarpon and got a nice surprise from a gag grouper in the mix. Also caught some nice over slot redfish as well. Had clients Tim and Grandson Chase from Pennsylvania today fishing. They were true die hard fisherman.
